Google is looking for a highly responsible and detail-oriented Trust & Safety Specialist to help maintain a secure and trustworthy environment across its platforms. In this role, you will contribute to protecting users, advertisers, creators, and businesses by identifying risks, reviewing content, and enforcing policies that ensure platform integrity.

As part of Google’s Trust & Safety team, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners in policy, legal, engineering, product, and operations to detect emerging threats, evaluate potential violations, and support enforcement actions. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong judgment, analytical thinking, and a commitment to maintaining safe digital experiences for users worldwide.

This position offers the opportunity to work on large-scale safety initiatives that impact billions of users while helping shape policies and processes that support responsible online behavior.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and assess content for compliance with platform policies and community guidelines.
  • Investigate reports of policy violations, abuse, spam, fraud, and harmful behavior.
  • Identify patterns and emerging risks affecting platform safety and user trust.
  • Conduct risk analysis and recommend mitigation and enforcement strategies.
  • Collaborate with policy, legal, engineering, product, and operations teams.
  • Support implementation of enforcement actions and safety procedures.
  • Analyze data to detect trends and operational vulnerabilities.
  • Document findings and prepare detailed reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of safety processes and workflows.
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency in high-volume, policy-based decision-making.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies consistently and accurately.
  • High attention to detail with strong judgment skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience handling sensitive or confidential information responsibly.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Trust & Safety, content moderation, risk operations, compliance, or policy enforcement.
  • Understanding of online safety, digital risk, and platform integrity frameworks.
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, or operational dashboards.
  • Background in fraud detection, investigations, or security-related roles.
  • Experience working in global or cross-functional operational environments.
